Support of this new organization assisting homeless families to become self-sufficient.FPNI assists families faced with homelessness by providing shelter, employment and housing assistance, as well as individual and family counseling. A dozen area churches collaborate with FPNI staff in providing shelter and meals on a rotating basis. WGA partially funded the director’s salary, day center rent & phone & internet expenses for their second year of operation. More details...

Expanded counseling to better serve children and teens impacted by domestic violence.Through a partnership with the local Soroptimist International group, the Women’s Center provides counseling services, free of charge, for young children and teens. Our grant funded a part-time education specialist and increased the counseling position to full time whereby enabling more children to be served and reduce the wait time for counseling.
